Toad Strangler....Don't ask us how we came up with that crazy name! Toads are really cool though.
Join us Saturday, April 13th for our 3rd annual Toad Strangler Gravel ride. We have a super fun challenging route.
There is a small change to the 2024 route.

Family Friendly 10 Mile Route Option
10 mile Family Route https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38375138
Have a family that likes to ride bikes together? This route option is for you!
As part of our ongoing effort to get more kids on bikes, the 10-mile route option will offer younger riders and their families the opportunity to experience the joy of gravel riding. The route incorporates some of the same roads as the long course including the finishing dirt road descent on Highland. The route will be well marked with marshalls at busy intersections to assure a fun, safe riding environment. All riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Flow Riders Kids Course and Kids Race
Located in the park, the kids course is a self-contained area to ride and practice skills. The course will be open to all during the main ride and afterwards during the post-ride party. At 1:30 pre-registered kids will be called-up to race for toad-stranglin-braggin rights! Bring the young rippers and their bikes for some fun.
National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Bikewash Station
The NICA kids and coaches will be ready to scrub that beautiful Columbia county mud off your bike post-ride. All donations go to support this capital-region based youth cycling program (Venmo, Paypal or cash gratefully accepted). What's better than basking in the glory of finishing a great gravel ride with a meal and a beverage? Doing so while watching a team of kids and coaches go to town cleaning your bike, knowing that all the proceeds go to getting more kids on bikes!
