Gear up for Central Virginia's premier mountain bike race – the Wormhole 100k! This 68-miles of challenging terrain will push you to your limits and reward you with breathtaking views, technical descents, and lung-busting climbs. This is not your average mountain bike race; it's sure to test your skills, endurance and sheer determination.

The course will traverse some of the most awe-inspiring trails the region has to offer including Cornelius Creek, Pine Ridge, Little Cove Mountain, Chesnutt Mountain, the Glenwood Horse Trail and the mysterious Wormhole.

Are you ready to embark on a journey that transcends the ordinary – a wormhole of adventure where time slows down, and every pedal stroke takes you deeper into the heart of mountain biking greatness? Whether you're a seasoned pro or a daring enthusiast, this race is your chance to prove yourself on the challenging trails of the East Coast.

For those who are eager to embrace the thrill of the Wormhole but not quite ready to tackle the full 100k adventure, we've got the perfect solution – checkout the Wormhole 50k option!

We aim for all participants to complete the Wormhole; however, out of consideration for our volunteers and race staff, there will be cutoff times of 12 hours for the 100K and 10 hours for the 50K option.

Included with each racer's entry is some sweet swag, a post-race meal ticket and complimentary weekend of camping.

The challenging race course promises an epic adventure! The 68 mile route blends 65% dirt, 28% gravel, and 7% paved roads while climbing just over 11,000 feet of elevation. Rider will traverse the best trails in the area including Cornelius Creek, Pine Ridge, Glenwood Horse Trail, Little Cove Mountain, Chesnutt Mountain, and the mysterious Wormhole.

To ensure your journey is fueled and supported, we will strategically placed aid stations along the course. We've got you covered with a total of 5 aid stations, each featuring a variety of popular race foods along with plenty of fluid to keep you going strong.
