The Swissvale Mile is a community-driven, family-friendly fitness event featuring a timed race or a dog-friendly, family fun walk. Entirely volunteer-organized and funded by registrations, sponsorships, and donations, the event fosters community support and connectivity. Since its inception, proceeds have benefited various local causes, such as the Woodland Hills Chromebook Fund, Swissvale Orioles Baseball and Softball Association, and more.
