2nd Annual Recovery Ride was created to support the Recovery Through Christ Men’s Home in Jasper, Virginia. The Recovery Home was established Spring 2021 to help men who have encountered various addictions in their life. Since 2021, Recovery Through Christ Ministries have helped several men overcome addiction through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The ministry has grown from accepting a few men to stay at the home at one time to now up to 12 men. This amazing ministry is growing and with growth there is an increase in overall costs, including daily expenses such as food and gas needed for the men to stay at the home. The Recovery Ride’s goal is to raise funds to help this wonderful ministry continue to thrive and continue to help men overcome their addictions.
This year's event will have two route options, 56 mile and 24 mile routes. The Recovery Ride will begin and end at Thomas Village Baptist Church located in Duffield, VA. (Home - Thomas Village Baptist Church) Day of registration will begin at 7:00 am with the ride beginning at 8:00 am. The Long Recovery Ride Routes will leave Duffield and head toward Sneedeville, TN with turnaround point just before entering into the town of Sneedeville. The route will loop around to Kyle's Ford then onto Fairview Road until making a left onto Purchase Ridge Road which will return riders to Duffield. Both the long and medium routes are scenic, safe, and provides smooth roads!!! All riders must wear helmets and follow all traffic laws and regulation with both short and long routes for this event is not on a closed course. We hope to see you come out and support the Recovery Through Christ Men's Home on July 13!!
Early online registration will be $30 and guarantees T-shirt, however day of registration will be $30 with first come first serve for T-shirts. Once again T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who pre-registered. Day of event registration T-shirts will be available as long as supplies last, so try to pre-register if you really want that T-shirt.
There will be SAG support and aid stations along the routes.
