Come help us Step Out of Summer with the "Stepping Out of Summer" Tiger 5000 Run the Fun! 5k This race kicks off August 24 @ 8:30am at Independence Park. The Marshall Area YMCA and the Marshall M Club have joined together to create a memorable morning for the entire family to enjoy the City of Marshall.
All participants that sign up prior to August 1, 2024 will be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
PROCEEDS GO TOWARD PARTICIPATION SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MHS Student-Athletes & YMCA Kids Scholarships

Aug. 1-23: $30 LATE REGISTRATION

RACE PLACE: Independence Park
Packet Pick Up Information:
Day of Check In and Pick Up will occur from 7:30 - 8:15 AM on Saturday, August 24 at INDEPENDENCE PARK (The morning of the race).
Other Important Information:
There are T-Shirts for those who did not register before the August 1st deadline, but these will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Race is NOT chip timed as this is a fun run. There will be a race timer at end of race but no one will be keeping track of your individual times.
There will be a water available at the half way point in the race.
The route will be guided by volunteers. Please do not make any turns until a volunteer guides you!
The Race will begin at 8:30 AM. Please line up for the race around 8:25 AM.
Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are welcome. If you plan to walk the race, please be courteous of your fellow participants and line up near the back of the chute. This will allow those running for personal bests to get out of the chute quickly.
