Important information: The marathon is no longer part of the race line-up and the half marathon course has been modified to support and respect the SP Crater Golden Eagle Preserve Complex, it no longer goes over the crater shoulder and is shorter (12+ miles as opposed to 14.1 miles)

All dirt roads, beautiful setting:

5K is on dirt roads, pretty flat10K is on dirt roads, gradual uphills and downhillsHalf Marathon includes gradual uphills and downhillsKeep in mind that the distances between aid stations can vary and be longer than most road eventsWearing a hydration pack and bringing your own fuel is highly recommended
