Our 5K 10K is a road race on a combination of paved and gravel/dirt or muddy roads. Our starting point is on Sheep Dip Road. Just north of the Columbus exit, About 1/4 mile...follow signs. It will continue north on Sheep Dip Rd. There is a 5K and a 10K course. Walkers are welcome on the 5K course. This race has an optional component of a scavenger hunt along the course. At the end of the race, prizes will be given for the game! The race is being held to benefit the Columbus Mental Health Center, a non-profit organization that provides mental health and addiction treatment to residents of Stillwater County. In addition to raising awareness about the need for mental and behavioral health services in rural communities, we hope to provide an opportunity for people to enjoy the beautiful Montana scenery while enjoying a low-risk and health-promoting activity. Thanks to the support of generous donors in the community, you can be sure this will be a scavenger hunt unlike any other!
FUN FUN: This year for the Scavenger Hunt...... We will do it from Monday to Friday the week before the run. I will send out or have participants pick up item list and businesses to find. You will be getting a picture for proof of find. Pictures will need to be emailed to me by Friday noon to get winners. [email protected] If you sign up for the run you may automatically be included in the hunt if you want, if you are not doing the run you can sign up just for scavenger hunt. Prizes given away June 4th.
Kids Scavenger Hunt will be June 4th in the morning and will be at the race starting point and in a fenced in field.
