关于赛事
The D.A.S.H. is an annual family friendly community-supported run/walk. On September 29, 2013 the very first D.A.S.H. was held. This event was created to bring attention to food insecurity within our small rural community. It highlights efforts to alleviate hunger through the Weekend Backpack Meals for students in the Santa Fe Unit School, several Blessing Boxes open 24/7/365 and other food related resources. The course will begin and end behind the Santa Fe Unit School, 2629 Santa Fe Pike. The 5K will continue to Fly Road and turn around at Herman Church Road, The one mile event will begin and end behind the school and go around the Square at Fly, Water Valley and Lewis Roads. The purpose is "Doing A Service Here" by promoting the food ministries in the community and encouraging all ages to participate in healthy activities. The Maury County Sheriff's Department will control traffic. A Matter of Timing will record results if there are at least 125 participants. This is a rain or shine event. NO REFUNDS. A virtual option is available. Please no pets unless a service animal.
