The 5th Annual Running Water 5k will partner with New International's Transformative Water ministry and Africa Hope in providing funding for water filtration systems and hygiene education to the Maasai Tribe in Narok, Kenya. In the past 5 years, funds raised from these events have resulted in the placement of over 200 water filtration systems that provide clean water access to approximately 2,000 people!
In an area where many children die before the age of 2, now there is a drastic reduction in clinic visits from water borne illnesses, thanks to your participation and contribution. Let's keep it going!
In a year that has been challenging for all of us, we are called to open our hearts to those whose daily struggles to survive are not visible in our day to day lives. Together, we can continue to transform lives - one step at a time!
Doodlefly photography will be providing our photographs, for the 4th year in a row, at no cost to runners!
Raffle tickets will be on sale at the race for a variety of items, including dining gift cards, artwork, and more! Raffle will be held after the race at the awards ceremony.
