Run The Hive 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run - GA

Join us on Saturday, May, 4th 2024 for our 1st annual Run The Hive 5k and 1 Mile fun run! We will be honoring Knox Henley Sampson by raising funds to further NKH Awareness and Research. 

 

What is NKH? Non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH) is a rare, genetic, metabolic disorder caused by a defect in the enzyme system that breaks down the amino acid glycine, resulting in an accumulation of glycine in the body’s tissues and fluids. It’s such a rare disease that the majority of the funds raised for research are from the families who have been affected by it.

Event details and schedule

Registration & Packet pick up: Saturday 6:30AM 

5K START TIME: 8:00AM

1 MILE FUN RUN START TIME: 8:05AM

 

Start and finish line will be at Parkway Baptist. Parking will be in the church parking lot and any potential over flow will be at LFO High School. We will have volunteers and signs to let you know where you can go. Registration will be near the start line in the church parking lot. No refunds will be issued. Must sign up before April 4th to be guaranteed a t-shirt in your preferred size.

 

Hydration and fruit will be provided! Grab your running shoes and be ready for a good time!
