Why "Run for the Duck"?
The Run for the Duck 5K is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to support the amazing swimmers of the INDY Swimming. The funds raised will go directly to the Piranha Swim Team Parent Organization (PSTPO), which plays a crucial role in enhancing the experience of our swimmers. PSTPO provides its swimmers with a variety of things from seasonal swim caps and custom gifts, to arranging parties, picnics, and treats each season for swimmers, concessions, t-shirts, and more.
Race Features:
- Scenic Course: Enjoy a beautiful route through the park with fall foliage on display.
- Family-Friendly Activities: Bring the whole family for post-race fun, including games, face painting, and a special "Chuck a Duck" area for kids.
- Fresh fruit, water, milk, energy bars, and bagels are provided to registrants upon completion of the race (no charge).
- Snacks and beverages for purchase for non-participants.
How to Register:
Online: Runsignup.com
In-Person: Register on race day starting at 7:30 AM at the event location.
By participating in the Run for the Duck 5K, you'll be helping to ensure that our swimmers continue to have access to the resources and support they need to succeed, both in and out of the pool. Let's come together to make this event a splash hit and show our Piranhas how much their community cares!
