Cash prizes awarded to the overall top three runners. The top three runners in each age group will receive medals. The age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-12 years old, 13-18 years old, 19-29 years old, 30-39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, and 60 and over.
Sprint For Our Schools has become a tradition in Ramsey. Bright and early, rain or shine, on the second Saturday in May, hundreds of people gather at the Municipal Pool ready to run as a community. You can feel the excitement: The DJ is playing music. The energy level is high. Our sponsors are in attendance. This year, runners can run our USATF-sanctioned race either on our traditional 5K course or 1 mile Family Fun Run route. When you register for this race, you are helping support the education experience in Ramsey. In the past, this event has raised more than $25,000 for Ramsey schools!*PACKET PICKUP TIMES*
Friday, May 10th 11:30-2pm OR 5:30-8pm at the Ramsey Pool – 75 E Oak St, Ramsey, NJ 07446 (times are subject to be changed)
Saturday RACE Day May 11th beginning at 7am at the Registration table, outside the Ramsey Pool

RPEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to enhance the quality of our children’s education by funding exceptional programs that would otherwise remain beyond the reach of the school budget. The foundation provides grants for technology, arts, and science programs in our five public schools. We are successful in these endeavors only through the combined efforts of families, friends, and businesses.
