Did you know the invention of beer goes back to 3500 BC, and the Rahr family started making beer in America in 1847! While typically celebrated on the day after the Rahr & Sons Running Club social run/walk, we’re running ahead and getting the National Beer Day party started early. Thanks to President Franklin Roosevelt, who made beer drinking legal on April 7th, 1933 (and the end of prohibition in December of that same year), we now have a beer holiday, so come on out and run or walk, then enjoy a locally crafted cold brew too!
SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets for $30 online.
Social Run Includes: 3ish mile, self-guided run/walk (untimed) with bottled water at the start/finish, three (3) free draft brew samples (must be 21+), and hot breakfast!!
SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE: Check-in opens at 8:00am and the group start is at 8:30am. If you miss the group start at 8:30am, you can still check in and run/walk, check in closes at 9:00am.
8 - 9 AM: Check in for the social run/walk
8:30 AM: “Group” Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!)
9:30 AM: Breakfast available via the Holy Frijole food truck and post social run fun in the brewery
10:30 AM: Each month we’ll have games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win.
11:00 AM: Last call
11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends and brewery closes
SOCIAL RUN/WALK NOTES & TIPS:
· All levels and paces are welcome.
· This event is untimed & always an awesome time! We are always rain or shine!
· We are cashless and paperless; all registrations are done online.
· Dogs are allowed at Rahr Brewing. Dogs must have tags, be on a leash and are only allowed in outside, in communal areas.
· Sign up online for $30, no refunds or transfers, once you are registered, you are registered!
· Bring your ID!
· Kids in strollers are always welcome and are always free.
