Race For The Birds

Join us for the 24th annual This Race is for the Birds!

This year, we are again offering in-person events and virtual 5K and 10K events.  All events require registration. Register by March 20th to guarantee a t-shirt and lock in lower registration fees.

In-Person 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run:
In-person events will be held on April 20 at 9:00am at the Broomgrass Farm Community. Enjoy the adventure of running or walking on non-technical cross-country trails that wind through fields and woods and along beautiful Back Creek. The events will be held rain or shine.Virtual 5K and 10K Run/Walk/Other:
Virtual participants may choose between running, walking, biking, hiking or another way to complete the distances between now and April 20.  Feel free to get creative! Participants will then email their results or photos to [email protected] with the subject “My Results.”

As this is a fundraiser for PVAS, no refunds will be offered, and the funds will still go to supporting the important work we do preserving, restoring and enjoying the natural world through education and action.
