Pinwheels 4 Peace 5K Run/Walk

Join us for a 5K run or walk on April 20th at the Kirby Park pavilion to support Pinwheels 4 Peace. Pinwheels 4 Peace is a Junior Leadership Northeast project for the class of 2024 working with the Child Advocacy Center in Luzerne to raise awareness for child abuse and neglect.

All proceeds made from the event will go to benefitting the Child Advocacy Center. Additional item and monetary donations will be encouraged and accepted at the event. Examples of item donations that would be accepted are toiletries as well as new and unused clothing/shoes of sizes ranging from infant to adult. Pinwheels and raffle baskets will also be sold at the event. Additional information regarding the Child Advocacy Center can be found (HERE).
