Owensboro Family YMCA is proud to host the BBQ 5K on May 11, 20243, downtown Owensboro.
This race is in conjunction with the 2024 BBQ & Barrels event and the community is invited to run or walk with us; competitive racers will stage in the front of the start line at 8:00 a.m. and non-competitive racers will be at the back of the start line.
Registration Pricing:
$35 for Adults - $20 for Children 1-18 (registration will discount at the cart)
Day of Race Registration: $40
Bag pick up will be Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10 (6am to 8pm) at the Owensboro Family YMCA, 900 KY Parkway, Owensboro
Raceday Bag Pickup from 7-7:45am at race location
T-shirts (on registrations received by April 28th) and medals will be given to the top 3 racers in each age group.

BBQ & Barrels represents the culmination of 45 years of a cultural tradition in Owensboro and Daviess County. It is the celebration of our past, our present, and our future, bringing together two of Owensboro’s greatest culinary traditions – unique barbecue and historic Kentucky bourbon.
