Mother’s Day Family 5K

 

Sunday, May 12th at Sertoma Park Shelter #10 (by the sand volleyball pits)

 

This is a 5K walk/run/race to help raise money for local mothers in need.  We’re teaming up with The Abused Adult Resource Center with help from The MOMS CLUB of Bismarck to bring this fun family event to life.  Our main mission in helping fund the support provided by these organizations is so that no mother is left feeling alone.  So come join for a day in May!

 

10:30 am the horn will sound (check-in starts at 9:30) We know that’s a little later than you early worm getters like to get going, but we have food and beer to follow at 11:00 am to help you bounce back.

Don’t want to participate in the 5K?  That’s A-okay!  If you come down for some food and a beer, part of your dollar will go to someone in need of it.  

 

We have live music! (Sort of) starting at 11 am and running until 3pm we will have all the classic tracks playing on vinyl.

 

We will also be hosting a diaper drive starting May 1st at the brewery and running (no pun intended) until the day of the 5K!

The diaper drive will end with a grand finale baby race! (Noon)

 

There will also be a ‘Kid’s Zone’ with playground and bounce house!

 

At 1 pm we will start our MOMS VS MOMS sand volleyball match 

(Children old enough to participate with their moms are welcome)
