The race starts and finishes in Pauillac. It winds through the vineyards and the prestigious châteaux of Pauillac, St-Julien, St Estèphe, Médoc or Haut-Médoc. The course visits no less than 50 châteaux.

Well you probably know all about this race by now. It's not so much a race as a festival. Fancy dress is expected, so you are doing this to have fun! Yes, there is wine at the drink stations. Yes, some people get absolutely blind drunk. Yes you will run through vineyards and amazing chateux (check out the Rothschilds - it's amazing). I've run serious races and not serious ones, and not serious are way better! Not every run has to be a PB :) This race is a must for all runners, it's incredible!
If you somehow run this race sub 4 hours, you are not doing it properly!
