Registrations within the race week will NOT be guaranteed a tee shirt. Those registering the week of the race will get a tee shirt on a first come/first serve basis.
Everyone will receive a finisher's medal and awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers and the top finisher in each division.
The Living Incredible Race is a series of 3 races: 1 mile fun run, 5k wheelchair event and 5k open run (with separate medaling categories for amputees). The race will be located at Shryock Park in Augusta, KS. Shyrock park is located next to the splash pad on the North side of the lake located off of Ohio St. The race begins by the water park, will loop around the baseball fields and return back to Shryock Park. Water and a fruit will be provided for race finishers.
Wichita Adaptive Sports is a non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer based. This event is designed to raise money to provide racing chairs or running blades, host clinics to teach youth how to use their adaptive equipment and send qualifying athletes to Jr. or Adult para National events. During the awards ceremony there will be a recipient who will receive a running prosthesis or racing chair from the funds raised at this event.
