Landrun 4th of July 5K and FunRun

Join us for a fun-filled way to kick off your Independence Day celebration in the City of Norman, while running for a good cause!   Kick off the festivities at 8:00 am with the Norman Firecracker 5k at Legacy Park. Hosted by Oklahoma Race Company and partnered with the City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department, this race is a great way to start your day and show your patriotic spirit.    Oklahoma Race Company has also partnered with Meals On Wheels of Norman, OK to make a difference in the community through this event!  A portion of the proceeds from this race will go to the non-profit Meals On Wheels of Norman, OK.  You also have the opportunity to donate to the charity during registration and 100% of these proceeds will go directly to Meals On Wheels of Norman, OK.

 

5k & 1 Miler's will get a cool big finisher medal, free professional race photos, swag bag and a customized race bib. Run on a USATF Certified course. Hear your name announced at the Finish Line by national broadcaster, author, running ambassador and running coach MARK BRAVO! Racers have the opportunity to purchase a race day t-shirt at check out or at the race if any shirts remain (shirts can be picked up at packet pick up or on race day).  Age group awards will be given this year.   Mark your calendars and register now!

 

PACKET PICK UP INFORMATION:   Event participants have two opportunities to pick up their race packets. Wednesday, July 3rd from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm  Oklahoma Race Company business office/warehouse located at 304 Opportunity Way. This is located at the NW corner of Indian Hills Rd & Porter/Sunnylane, in Drake's Landing warehouse area.  Look for the checkered feather flags!  Race day, July 4th beginning at 7:00 am at the race.  An email with this information along with parking and race day information will also go out to registrants prior to the race.   After the race, there will be fun Norman FourthFest activities that will be posted in here once details are confirmed.
