For complete race weekend details, see our race page. Bring the family.
The LaGrange Classic is located within walking distance from the historic town of Weaverville, on Highway 299 approximately 45 minutes west of Redding, CA and approximately 2 hours east of Arcata, CA. At a starting elevation of 2051 feet, our race courses are located in the Weaver Basin Trail System, host of the 2015 World Endurance Mountain Bike Organization (WEMBO) 24 Hour Solo World Championships. Race routes will include mixed conifer forests, oak woodlands, historic mining ditches, and challenging single track. Every effort is made to avoid forest roads, and all courses average over 90% single track.
Long course is approximately 27 miles*.Intermediate course is approximately 18 miles*.Short course is approximately 6 miles.*The Long and Intermediate courses may be subject to change due to high flows on East Weaver Creek.
Registration limit is 200 riders. Your registration includes a meal ticket, beer/drink ticket, and t-shirt, if registered before May 1st. After this date, t-shirts must be purchased separately. Categories for 18 and younger are discounted and high school racers are welcome.
Awards will be presented to:
The top 3 men and women in each category.
The fastest overall rider of each course.
Proceeds from past LaGrange Classic races helped to complete our pump track (part of phase I of the Trinity Bike Park), check it out! This year's proceeds will go towards phase II, a slope-style course. https://www.trinitytrailalliance.com/trinity-bike-park.html
