Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!!

In collaboration with Kingwood Running Company [COMING SOON!] and Christian Athletes Race Team (C.A.R.T.), Rad Racing Company proudly presents... the 1st Annual Kingwood Texas 4th of July FREEDOM RUN!!

 

Lace’m-up, get your most patriotic gear on and come join us in Proclaiming Liberty at our 4th of July FREEDOM RUN SHOWDOWN Y’all!  This is a family-friendly event that takes place exclusively in Kingwood Texas at the Town Center Park with 3 distances: 4-mile, 1-mile and ¼-mile.  The course is a fast and flat multi-loop run through the beautiful Town Center and Town Center Park area.

Distance Details:

1/4-mile Kids Dash: (10 & Under) untimed, first to the finish per age group wins all the bragging rights and a barbeque sandwich at the 4th festival later in the day!
1/4-mile Sprint: untimed, first to the finish wins all the bragging rights and a barbeque sandwich at the 4th festival later in the day!
1-mile Solo: Nice and easy double loop and swoop to the finish!
4-mile Solo: Throw it down and stretch your 5k limits in honor of the 4th!
4-mile Relay: Grab your bros, grab your girls and let’s see who’s got what it takes to get their Team engraved into FREEDOM RUN History!

FYI… Next year we will be adding an 8-mile or ½ Marathon (we'll take your feedback) and All participants this year will get a discount code to next years Showdown, BUT all award winners this year will get a FREE invite to Race with us again next year for any distance they choose… let’s see who’s coming back on RRC’s dime in 2025!

8:30am SAC RACE SHOWDOWN Starts!!
8:45am Race Awards, Best 4th Attire Contest and Post Race Fun

**Dashers/Sprinters need to be lined up by 7:00am, 4-mile Solo by 7:15am, and 1-mile S/4-mile R by 7:20am.  The different starting times allow us to keep you safe and spread out during the race. Overall and age group awards will begin at 8:45am

Virtual Events

Virtual Event participants are welcome to run any day, anytime, at the location of their choice! 

Your registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping for your packet. Your packet will be mailed to you and will ship out the Tuesday after the race. You can upload your times starting the day of the event on the results page. You can also upload any photos in the "participant upload" album on the photos page!

Challenge yourself and earn great swag!

 

WEATHER & CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. All Rad Race Company events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold.  For that reason, we have a strict no-refund policy. 

If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. 

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. 

Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.

If you are unable to participate in the event, upon request we can switch you to Virtual and you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal, and you simply run the race on your own time on your own course. *See our virtual race information for complete details.
