ROCtoberfest Run/Walk benefiting Gilda's Club

Offering a 3 mile and 1 mile option fun run/walk

Saturday, October 9th @ The Armory at 10AM

The cost is $10 and includes a post-run beer, hot dog cook out, plus non alcoholic beverages and treats and an event-specific sticker, raffles and demo option for Hoka One One road shoes.  Net Proceeds go back to Gilda's Club of Rochester.

Background

ROCtoberfest was typically a race we held in October that had a charity component for local charities.  Over the years we have helped raise over $60K for charities throughout the region through this event.  Given current pandemic circumstances we couldn't produce the event the way we wanted with beer garden and band, but we still wanted an event we can help support a local charity.  This year we selected one charity - Gilda's Club.  While we know this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month we wanted a charity that touched all cancers and was local.  Gilda's Club checked all those boxes.  Net Proceeds will go back to Gilda's Club.  To Learn More about them visit: https://gildasclubrochester.org/
