The Jam Dam Scramble is a 5K Run/Walk organized by the Wilson Junior Academy to benefit local and regional charities. This year's benefiting charity is the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Alger Marquette). Per their website, NAMI is dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons and their families affected by mental illness. The run/walk takes place along the delightful countryside of the "Jam Dam" village area near Wilson, MI. This route takes you on about 1.5 miles of pavement, just over 0.5-miles of gravel road, and just under 1-mile of trails following the beautiful Cedar River. This event offers a dazzling mix of scenery and easy trails for walkers and runners alike!
