Huron County For Families 5K Run/Walk- Fun Run & Pedaling with Pops

The Huron County Department of Job & Family Services, Fisher-Titus Medical Center and Family & Children First Council are partnering to promote the importance of family. We will be offering three events that includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Fun Run, and Pedaling with Pops. The 5K will start promptly at 8:30AM with the Fun Run to follow. Pedaling with Pops is scheduled to start at 10:00AM and follow the 5K route. We are excited to bring this event to you for FREE with hopes that you will bring your family out for a fun activity on Father's Day weekend! 

Medals will be awarded for the top male & female in the 5K Run and 1st & 2nd place in the following age groups: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 & older. Awards will also be given out to the top 3 Walkers. 

All three events will start from the Huron County Department of Job & Family Services and loop back around to return to the start. We are inviting partners out from youth and family serving agencies to provide information about their role in helping Huron County families. Fisher-Titus Medical Center will be giving out a limited number of helmets. We will plan to start handing those out at 9:00AM, so get there early if you would like to get a helmet before starting your ride at 10:00AM. We will also have a local barber shop available to do haircuts for dads (or a father-figure) and sons.
