Honor The Fallen 5k, 10k and Half Marathon

Honor the Fallen 5k TIMED, 5K UNTIMED, 10k and Half Marathon will take place in Grand Prairie Texas Saturday September 9, 2023! 
The Honor The Fallen benefits the Texas Police Chiefs Association Fallen Officer Foundation.   

The Half and 10K route is an out and back and will connect with the beautiful Campion Trails. The 5K TIMED AND 5K UNTIMED route is a one loop route.
As always there will be plenty of water/aid stations and support on the course.

The post party will have our traditional pancakes and FUN for everyone. Every participant will receive awesome swag and all finishers will receive a FINISHER MEDAL.

NEW VIRTUAL OPTION:
Can't make the event then join us virtually. Do the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon at your own pace and time. Post your results on our Honor the Fallen website and pictures on the Facebook page. Each virtual runner will receive a S/S race shirt, socks, finisher's medal, and race bib. Packages will be sent out right after September 11th ( We shipped to addresses in the continental US )

WEATHER POLICY

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.

If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. 

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. 

Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
