Haverford Twilight 5K Run & Walk

WHAT:  A fun & festive 5K run/walk and 1-Mile Elementary School Challenge that takes participants through the heart of Havertown. Proceeds from the Twilight Run directly support new and innovative programs and projects in our Haverford Township School District schools.

WHEN : SATURDAY, April 27, 2024

            4:45 p.m. for 1 Mile Elementary School Challenge

             5:00 p.m. for the 5K Run

             5:05 p.m. for the 5K Walk

WEATHER:  The race will take place rain or shine!

WHERE:  Haverford High School - 200 Mill Road - Havertown, PA  19083

REGISTRATION FEES:

·         1 Mile Elementary School Challenge - $20.00 until April 26th, 11:59 p.m., $25.00 on April 27th 

·         5K Run/Walk - $30 until April 26th, 11:59 p.m., $35 on April 22nd

·         Special Family Rate - $85 until April 26th, 11:59pm for 4 registrants of same family. (no Family Rates on April 27th, so register early!).

RACE PACKET PICKUP:  Saturday, April 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Haverford High School, 200 Mill Road, Havertown, PA  19083. You can register up until 4:30 p.m. on April 27th.

NOTE: If you are pre-registered for the Run, please stop by HHS & pick-up your race packet early to avoid the crowds!

T-SHIRTS: There will be T-Shirts for the first 300 registrants. But we cannot guarantee race shirts for late registrants.

Music & Kids Fun Zone: Haverford WHHS Radio Station DJs will be at the race playing fun music to get everyone pumped up for the race! Haverford Child Development students will be on hand with face painting, games & activities to keep the younger kids busy before the Twilight Run begins.  So, feel free to come to the race early to enjoy some music and fun activities for the kids!

IMPORTANT TIPS

RACE PACKET PICK-UP: Package pick-up will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th. Please try to pick-up your Race Bib and T-shirts as early as possible. Pick-up will be quick and easy if you take the time to stop by the high school before the crowd forms about an hour before the race.

PARKING: There will be parking at Haverford High School, Haverford Middle School, and in the neighborhoods surrounding the High School.  Also, you can park at the Municipal lots at Brookline, Benedict Ave and Oakmont.

BATHROOMS: There will be bathrooms available at Haverford High School. Please use the bus shelter entrance to gain access to the school to use the facilities.

PETS:  Although we all love pets, the Twilight Run is a family friendly event with many young children and families who may not be comfortable around animals. Please keep your pets at home.

Run & Walk Registration Fee Includes:
-Commemorative run t-shirt (first 300 to register) 
-Walkers/runners under age 18 will be entered to win a raffle prize.
-Free refreshments (grab-and-go) immediately after the race.
-Post Race "Party on the Town": Your race bib is good for free or reduced-price treats from Havertown businesses Saturday evening after the event.

Top 3 overall winners (Male, Female, Non-Binary)
Top 3 in each age group (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
