Haven's Mother’s Day Run started in 2012. Not just a fun run for the whole family, this event celebrates the mother figures in our lives while raising awareness about domestic violence in the Gallatin Valley, and about Haven’s mission! We invite you to join us on Mother's Day May 14th and run or walk to support survivors of domestic violence. All mothers will receive a flower as they cross the finish line!
The 5K begins and ends at the Bozeman Pond Park, right around the corner from our new shelter location on Pond Row! The course will weave through the Valley West neighborhood, following roads and park trails, including a loop around the Meyer's Park Pond. Dogs are welcome! For the safety of dogs and runners, please keep your dog on a 6 foot leash.
The course is stroller and kid-friendly, with wide sidewalks and trails. The total elevation change along the course is only a gradual 50 feet, making it accessible for all levels of runners, walkers, and other participants. An aid and water station will be located at the halfway point of the course.
The Mother's Day 5K is going cupless this year to lessen our impact on the area and decrease environmental waste. We will provide water stations for participants to refill water bottles and hydration packs. Reusable speed cups will be provided for the first 300 registrants!
Registration will open on Monday, March 20 and will be available through until 9:45a on the morning of the run! Early registration is $40 from March 20 through April 14, and the price increases to $45 for April 15 through May 14. Teams of 4 or more will be able to register for $30 per person. The 2023 Haven Mother's Day 5K t-shirt is guaranteed for early registrants. Please also check out our specialty Haven tees, hoodies, and sweatshirts available for purchase!
