Explore the Great Trail of Penang, a unique opportunity for adventure-seekers in the heart of Penang Island. This island, rich in history and cultural diversity, features a network of trails developed over centuries, long before colonial times. As the fourth largest island entirely in Malaysia, Penang boasts an area of 295 km² (114 sq mi) and is the country's most populated island city. Participants will embark on a semi-self-guided journey, requiring proficiency in using GPS watches, maps, or GPS devices for navigation. This experience offers an exceptional way to discover the island's lush landscapes and vibrant heritage.

路线亮点
This 233km route over the island has almost incorporated all the possible trails on Penang Island. Participants will be self navigating the routes from checkpoints to checkpoints, and will have the option to sleep in 3 life bases which offer proper shower and sleeping facilities. There'll be many aid stations along the way offering food and beverages but runners are encouraged to buy their own along the way at any available food stalls or restaurants or be supported by the public or their friends and relatives.
