The Funnel Cake 5k is back as part of Searcy's Get Down Downtown Festival on Saturday, September 30! This fast and flat 5k starts at 8:00 a.m. at the corner of Arch and Spring streets. New this year- the Funnel Cake 5k will be professionally chip timed! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate! All registered 5k participants will receive a voucher for a free funnel cake! Not ready for a 5K? No problem! Register for the Cotton Candy Classic 1-mile event and receive a voucher for a free cotton candy. There is also a virtual option for those who would like to participate but are unable to attend. Virtual runners receive a race shirt too!
The Funnel Cake 5K is only $30 if you register by August 31. From September 1- 29 registration is $35 per entry. Race day registration is available for $40 from 6:30-7:30 Saturday morning. The Cotton Candy Classic is only $20 by August 31 and $25 from September 1-29. Race day registration is available for $30 from 6:30-7:30 Saturday morning. Register by September 17 to guarantee your shirt size.
