Franklin Parish Catfish Classic 5k

Join us for The Oldest Race in Town as we run/walk in our military & family-friendly outdoor event in Baskin, LA on Sat., 4/29/23! We are featuring the north end of Franklin parish on the weekend before our annual Catfish Festival (Wisner). Our proceeds this year go to support the efforts to create a veterans center on the campus of one of our local universities! We offer a flat, paved surface for both a 5K & 10k. Follow our page & event for updates! Baskin’s own Arlie Walters will be frying catfish for our participants!
