关于赛事
Did you know that November is Manatee Awareness month in Florida? The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) reminds boaters to slow down and look out below during this time, as manatees begin to travel to warmer water in the fall.
To help bring awareness to these gentle giants we are going to be hosting a 5K and 1 mile run or walk on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. This race will happen on the beautiful Englewood Beach, the full race course will be on the sand, which means you will have the best view of any race in Florida!
For this race all participants will receive a manatee beach towel and commemorative manatee finishers medal. You don't want to miss the opportunity to get out early as the sun rises and participate in a beautiful beach run or walk. This race will be capped for participation and the Turtle Trot in April sold out two weeks prior to the race. If you plan to participate, please don't wait to the last minute to sign up!
