Eilat Desert Marathon

The was organised very well,and I’m pleased with my experience.

It was a difficult terrain,with ups and downs.Real desert run.The weather was perfect,not cold,not hot..perfect. I enjoyed very much,and next year I will be back..

Cool happenings around the event, amazing location.

Track was really great experience, definitelly i would recommend it to run but Oragnisation has a lots of place for improvements. You pay not a small start fee but you dont have almost nothing in start bag, pasta you need to buy/pay what should be included, t-short should be paid too, after asking 3 people organisational question (for example where will be held yoga what was part of the after run event) i got 3 different answers... and this was happening most the time and created chaos between people. They were even not able to navigate you where is the start line before start.

Experiencing track

Did this marathon twice and would love to do it another time. The combination of the desert atmosphere and the blue "red sea" is wonderful. sites are beautiful and the organization is cool and warm. there is no thing like taking a dip at the cool sea water after completing a marathon run. also Eilat city is happy and it is nice to spend some days there

the Desert marathon starts in the early morning , it dosent get much hot till you end it, most of the route is on trails and not roads

Awesome place to run for all the runners round the globe. Good climate and beautiful topography. Terrain is challenging. Highly recommended for all runners.
