Come join us for an exciting experience that you will never forget! This is guaranteed to be a fun and exciting way to get outdoors, explore the sites in the area of our National Conference host city, and get a great cardio workout all at the same time! This is an event for all ages and abilities so bring the family and enjoy the view atop North America's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge, the Big Dam Bridge! Learn about the amazing engineering feats of the numerous locks and dams that are built along the Arkansas River.
WHO: Anyone!
WHAT: 5K (3.1 mile) walk or run
WHERE: Pavilion 1 & 2, Murray Park, Little Rock, Arkansas
WHEN: Saturday, August 6th, 2022. Race start time is 8:00 a.m.
REGISTRATION COST: Participants will get to choose from one of two registration options:
Option 1) $35 per participant, includes t-shirt or ladies tank top. This option will only be available until July 6th.
Option 2) $20 per participant, t-shirt or tank top is NOT included.
RACE COURSE: The out and back course will start and finish at Murray Park in Little Rock. It will take you up and over the Big Dam Bridge where you will turn around at the water station that we will provide on the north side of the bridge and come back to the start.
Addition Information: A finisher's medal will be given to all participants who complete the course. Registration will be available the day of the event. This is an IN-PERSON event. There will not be a virtual option for this race. Packet pick-up will be held the morning of the event starting at 7:00 a.m.
