Davis Labor of Love Run

Make plans today to kick off your Labor Day with a run or walk at the 26th Annual Davis Labor Day Race!
This event will be held on Monday, September 2 in Davis. We offer four races for this event: 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), a One Mile Run/Walk for all ages, and a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run. 

Entry includes a t-shirt, finisher medal and post-race pancakes. 

Race Information:

✔️ Register Online.  Registration opens June 1, 2024.

✔️ Start Times: Start times are as follows: 
      8:00 a.m. - 10K
      8:05 a.m. - 5K
      8:10 a.m. - One Mile  
      9:30 a.m. - Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run

✔️ Location: Downtown Davis, exact address TBA

✔️ Course Maps: Both the 5K & 10K routes take place primarily in South Davis. The One Mile takes place Downtown. A map can be viewed here: http://changeofpace.com/event/davis-labor-day-run/#course-map-ldr 

✔️ Medals: Finisher medals will be distributed to all finishers at the finish line. Overall, plus age group award winner medals will be awarded to the top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers. They can be picked up at the award pick up tent. . 

✔️ One Mile Distance: The One Mile run or walk, perfect for families not quite ready for the 3.1 mile distance, runners looking for a quick race, walkers, children, and everyone in between. Awards to top three finishers by gender plus in age groups of: Children: 8 and under, 9-12; Teens: 13-17, Adults 18-39, Masters 40-59, Seniors 60+.

✔️ Beneficiary: The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit organization that provides nutrition, exercise and mindset programming tailored to the unique needs of those battling or recovering from cancer treatment. Donations to Cancer Champions enable the organization to provide survivors with expert guidance to complement traditional cancer treatment. A Change of Pace and Cancer Champions both believe in the powerful and proven benefits of exercise, and we are very happy to be able to deepen our relationship in the name of health, fitness, and quality of life.

✔️Parking: Available throughout downtown Davis (no hourly parking enforcement on a holiday)
