Chocowinity Middle School 5k and Fun Run

Chocowinity Middle School will be hosting a 5K and 1K fun run on Saturday morning, June 1st. The event promises to be a fun-filled day of running, socializing, and community engagement. The 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Fun Run at 8:30 a.m., with both routes starting and ending at the Chocowinity Recreation Complex. The 5K course takes participants through the picturesque scenery of Chocowinity, while the Fun Run is perfect for families and children. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and is a great opportunity to support a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the outdoors.

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pick up will begin 7:15-8:15

1K Fun Run will begin at 8:30 (This run will be around the park track)

5K will begin at 8:45 (This route will go through the town of Chocowinity and will stop and start at the Rec)

There will be breakfast food for sale

This event will not be officially timed but feel free to track your run with your phone or device of choice.
