The Brooks Hardie Foundation was started in memory of Brooks Hardie, who tragically lost his life duck hunting in December of 2023. Brooks was an avid waterfowler, an exceptional athlete, a loyal friend, a brother, and a son. This foundation plans to fund multiple scholarships in his honor, and to plans to help raise awareness for water safety for hunters.
This event is part of The Brooks Hardie Foundation. As a memorial to Brooks and his Bremen High School athletic number 16, the course is 1.6 miles. You can participate in the one lap 1.6 or two laps to make it 3.2 miles. The event is chip timed to get official and live results. Shirts with event are guaranteed with registration through April 20, 2024. Don't miss out on this day to honor Brooks life and share in support of this foundation to bring scholarships and awareness.
Both events 1.6 and 3.2 will start at 08:00 AM. All abilities are welcome.
Packet pick up will occur from 7:15 am - 7:50 am on race morning.
Awards following the 3.2 mile event, approximately 9AM.
