Break the Cycle 5k Run

Breaking the Cycle 5K Run is unique in its own right. Its ultimate goal is to bring awareness to individuals and families alike who have suffered, are suffering, and are living in fear by the hands of their abusers. We want to empower them to live beyond the abuse and find emotional healing. Bringing awareness to this vicious cycle can help save lives as well as educate supporters on the importance of how this effects the entire family. As a survivor, I suffered in silence out of fear and the lack of resources that I can safely go to without being judged. You as the runner will show that we are unified in making our voice heard to bring more awareness and resources to help break the cycle of abuse and find emotional healing for our families, neighborhood, and community.

 

Event details and schedule

The event schedule will be as  follows: runners please arrive early to check in for packages, sign waivers and recieve course info. There is plenty of space for parking. The church has its own field outlined in a nice wooded area. ID will be required for adults and waivers will be required for minor children. Wear comfortable clothes. Shirts will be provided for runners with registration. Pictures will be taken and metals will be given to all participants. Trophies will be awarded to the first two that finish first.
