This year, we will have two state parks that will serve as our basecamps for the Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee which will take place from September 14th - 19th! We will start the ride at Fall Creek Falls State Park on September 14th - 16th and will move to Cumberland Mountain State Park from Sept 17th - 19th.
Each day riders will have multiple routes to choose from depending on their goals for the day. You can expect to see routes between 25-45 miles, 45-65 miles, and 65-85 miles and 100 miles throughout the week. All routes will be supported by our Tennessee Park Rangers and volunteers. Being supported by us means you can expect fully stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles which include water, Gatorade, fresh fruit, nutritious snacks, bathrooms, and friendly faces along the way, Rangers running the routes with their blue lights on to alert motorists of your presence, and our awesome mechanic that is never too far away in case you have a bike mishap.
Once you return to basecamp each day you will have a variety of activities to participate in from Ranger-led programs, yoga, evening music, yard games, etc. There will be plenty to do at both beautiful state parks!
Choose to join us for the full 6-day ride, the first 3 days, the last 3 days, the weekend, or a single day! Check out our multiple registration options to see what will best fit your schedule and riding style.
Do you have a "non-rider" you would like to bring to the BRAT? No worries, we have a non-rider registration option that allows them to enjoy the afternoon and evening activities, meals, and daily excursions. Excursions will take place during the day while riders are out on the route.
All the proceeds from the ride will be supporting the Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail, Tennessee Park Rangers Association, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland Mountain State Park, and The Friends of the Cumberland Trail!
