BLUE STEEL STAMPEDE Trail Races 21K/HALF, 10k & 5K

    RACE IS ON!!!!!!!! NOT rained out. These trail races for all abilities and experience. This event was created to promote the joys of trail running and the Maryland Chapter of C.O.P.S. ( Concerns Of Police Survivors) . There is a 21k( HALF), 10k and 5k.  It's held at Cromwell Valley Park ( Willow Grove Area) , Glen Arm MD. The event has everything that an experienced to a beginner trail runner wants in a course. It has hills, climbs, single track, minor stream crossings, rocks, roots, grass fields, fire roads, flats, and down hills that will keep your attention and challenge your fitness level. The course is 98% trail with a very small amount of asphalt. There is water stops on the 21k and 10k course. The 21k is TWO laps of the 10k course while the 5k is an abbreviated version of the 10k. There are several places for family and spectators to check out the action and cheer.  Awards will be given to the TOP  three Over All and the TOP in each age group U-19, 20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60+.
