Please join us for the annual 5K run/walk through beautiful Nebraska City on Saturday morning, September 16, 2023, in conjunction with the city’s 55th AppleJack Festival! We encourage participation of everyone from the beginner to experienced road runners - proceeds from this event go back into the Nebraska City community.
The route for this 5K begins in Steinhart Park in Nebraska City. Portions of the race will be on brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Strollers and dogs (on leashes) are welcome and encouraged! Check the Facebook link below for a picture of the route!
Meet at the shelter in Steinhart Park (across from the Steinhart Aquatic Center) at 7:00 a.m. The run begins at 7:30 a.m. Plenty of free parking is available at Nebraska City High School, 141 Steinhart Park Road. Restrooms are available at the start/finish. Showers and changing facilities are available at the Ambassador Wellness Center in Nebraska City.
There will be a 1-mile Kids Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Steinhart Park. The Kids Run is free!
