These races are chip time on a classic Driftless area course. Located in the scenic rolling hills of western Wisconsin sits Apple Country – Gays Mills. Every year this small town hosts an epic event, Apple Fest, which includes a 1/4 mile kids run, a 2 mile Run/walk and a 5 mile run along a beautiful wooded backroad heading out of town.
The Apple Fest Run/Walk course is an impressive challenge of hills with a few level areas to give you a break! With the Kickapoo on one side of you and fall colors all around there is no end to the view as you run. You start and finish by the Dam in Gays Mills and as you are heading back to the finish line you can hear the crowd's cheers before you can even see them. It will give you just the rush and motivation you need to finish your race strong.
Race Registration is from 8:00-8:45am at the Lions Shelter park adjacent to the Gays Mills bridge (Across the street from Robb Park).
