Join us for a 5K walk/run and one mile fun run at Historic Jamestown Island on the picturesque Island Loop Drive. The route moves along a paved, stroller-friendly, and pet-friendly nature trail. All participants will receive a race t-shirt giveaway to commemorate the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and the top three overall finishers.
The ALL SHADES 5k is an annual event sponsored by the nonprofit charity Striving for Excellence and Equality in Dietetics (SEED). We are on a mission to create financial stability for people of color throughout their Dietetic Internship and expand the existence of Dietetics as a career choice for people of color. Proceeds from the race will help to fund the dietetics intern scholarship program at Virginia State University. Learn more about SEED at: www.weareseed.org.
This is a Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix race. Runners and walkers 7 years of age and older must be registered to participate. Bring the entire family out for a morning of exercise and fun for a great cause!
