5K RUN for the KIDS! - Hoschton, GA

WELCOME to our 2nd Annual 5K RUN for the KIDS! We are hoping, with your support, that we can make this an even BIGGER event in support of our GREAT charities, the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes, the Georgia Masonic Children's Home, The Shriner's Hospital, the YMCA of Winder and other Masonic Children's Charities.  This year's race is dedicated to Janis G. Mangum of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.  Sheriff Mangum has served Jackson County for over 31 years and is retiring this year.  The Citizens and Masons of Jackson County commend Sheriff Mangum for her year's of dedicated service to Jackson County and Georgia and for being "A Sheriff of the People."  You will be missed Sheriff Mangum. This year's race will be in beautiful downtown Hoschton, Georgia (same as before). This family-friendly event is open to runners and walkers of all levels.  This run is now an official Atlanta Journal/Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event (Course ID# GA18038DJ).   Day of the race - registration starts (credit card only) at 7:30am and the race will start at 9:00am.   Late registration, after Monday, October 7th at 12am, will be $35, so pre-register online and pay $30.   This year we plan to have packets/bib pick-up, Thursday, October 10th and Friday, October 11th at Runners Fit location at Runners Fit located at 7419 Spout Springs Rd. #103, Flowery Branch, GA  30542. Their store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once you have your packet and bib, there will be no need to check in on Saturday morning. The remaining packets will be available Saturday morning starting at 7:30am. The deadline for a guaranteed event shirt will be 10/03/23 at midnight. Those registering after October 3rd, will receive a shirt while supplies and sizes last!

Parking:

Parking will be available in the grass parking area across the W Broad Street from Rockwell Masonic Lodge (@ 111 Hall St.) and additional parking is available at Hoschton United Methodist Church (@ 12 Mulberry St.)
