Skirts in the Dirt is more than just another mountain bike race -- it is a celebration of women who ride! Our space is safe and we extend an invitation to anyone who might feel intimidated joining in! The sport is awesome, and the people are even better!

Registration is $45 (girls 12 & under who race in the Squirts categories are free)

NEW! Tinny Squirts in the Dirt (Strider Riders ages 1 - 6)

Kids in this category are free -- Bring the whole family! This is for your cutie pie Strider Riders who want to race like mom and/or big sister did! This race is less than a mile long. It will start shortly after the Squirts in the Dirt races.

Squirts in the Dirt (Ages 7 to 12): 1 - 2 miles

Kids in this category ages 7 -12 race for free -- Bring the whole family! This race is 1 - 2 miles long. Riders will start shortly after the other Never Ever! racers at 12:30 P.M.

Never Ever!: 5-6 miles plus challenges (1 lap)

For those are new riders, have little experience, have never raced before or who said they'd never race. Never say never!!! You've been out riding and love being on the trail, but are still starting out. Let's keep this fun! Race begins at 12:30 p.m. Categories for ages 12 -19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

NEW! Oops! I did it again!: 5-6 miles plus challenges (1 lap)

For those are new riders who are experienced, have been riding a while, have been in a race or two or three or… but only want to race one lap - this one is for you! Let's keep this fun! Race begins at 12:30 p.m. Categories for ages 12 -19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

Little Divas (Ages 9 - 13): 5 miles plus challenges (1 lap)

For little divas who have been or currently are in a formal youth mtb group or have successfully raced in races 10+ miles in the past. This category is free and the top 3 get CASH PRIZES!

Weekend Warrior: 9-10 miles plus challenges (2 laps) *challenges only have to be done 1 time

You love to ride and maybe even race from time to time. You have probably passed a guy in an Iceman Jersey and politely waved as you pedaled by. Race begins at 10:30 a.m. Categories for ages 12- 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 & 60+.

Dirt Diva: 14-15 miles plus challenge (3 laps) *challenges only have to be done 1 time

Chain lube is in your blood. Quite a few people have no idea what you look like without a bike helmet and dirt on your cheeks -- but you look like a total diva when covered with dirt. Race begins at 9 a.m. Categories for ages 39 and under, 40+.

Single Speed: 5 miles plus challenges (1 lap)

Deraileurs?! Who needs them?! Granny gear is just not in these ladies’ vocabulary. If you love the minimalist beauty of a single cog and a straight chain line, you're willing to gamble on yourself and you might love yourself a little Beyonce, this category is for you. Race begins shortly after 11:30 a.m. Now put your hands up!

Fabulously Fat (Fat Bikes Only): 5 miles plus challenges (1 lap)

For those riders who are always prepared for whatever Michigan can throw at them. Your favorite way to ride is with tires 3.5" or wider. Want to know how to get ready for bikini season? Put a bikini on, duh! We all look great just the way we are and fat bikes should not be excluded from that mentality. Race begins shortly after 11:30 a.m.
