Severn Challenge

Embark on the thrilling adventure of the MTC Severn Challenge, a demanding race that tests the limits of endurance in the UK. Known for its rigorous course, this event has become slightly more accessible with accommodations offering comfortable beds for participants. Despite its challenges, only about 26% of participants have successfully completed the race in recent years, making it a true test of perseverance.The journey begins with Stage 1, a 26-mile run in the picturesque MTC Hafren, starting at the Rhyd-y-benwych picnic area. The challenge escalates with Stage 2, the MTC Severn Plod Ultra, a 47-mile stretch. Stage 3 demands even more stamina with a 59-mile trek in the MTC Severn Path Ultra. Participants then face Stage 4, the MTC Severn Way Ultra, covering 57 miles. The race culminates with Stage 5, the MTC Bristol Severn, a 29-mile finish.

With a total distance of 218 miles, the MTC Severn Challenge invites adventure seekers to measure their mettle against one of the UK’s toughest endurance races.
