Providence Marathon & Rhode Race

The 16th running of The Providence Marathon will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023. This exciting race day in DownCity Providence will host a marathon and half marathon.

The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location

The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Qualifier. The Half Marathon is USATF certified.

Please Note: The Providence Marathon will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.
