Petit Family Foundation 5K

The Petit Family 5k Road Race, founded by Robert and Gary Heslin, honors Dr. William A. Petit, Jr. and his family. As lifelong runners, Robert and Gary established a USATF-certified event to benefit charitable causes. The race celebrates a legacy of goodwill, transcending athletics. Over the years, the Petit Family Foundation has distributed more than $4.5 million in grants supporting various programs and projects in Connecticut, the American Northeast, and throughout the U.S. Attendees can also participate in a Fitness Walk, catering to different athletic capabilities while contributing to a greater cause.
