June Bike Ride

The Friends of the Weiser River Trail hosts an exciting bike ride with two route options for endurance enthusiasts: tackle a 28-mile or a 48-mile ride. This event caters to riders of all skill levels and promises a mostly downhill journey after a brief initial climb near the start. Participants begin near New Meadows and make their way to either Council or Cambridge. You'll meet at the Cambridge Trailhead or Council Trailhead, where your bike will be transported to the start location, and you'll take a shuttle bus alongside fellow riders. There are restroom facilities available at each trailhead and at several stops along the way, including snack stops at Starkey and Goodrich trailheads. Lunch awaits all participants in Council.

Riders should note that helmets are mandatory for safety and due to insurance requirements. Ensure your bike is in top condition for the ride, and be ready for varying weather conditions by layering appropriately. Remove all bags from your bike for transport and reinstall them at the starting point.
