Welcome to the Go Swiftly 5k! It is a themed running event where fans and fitness enthusiasts come together to run and celebrate the amazing person and music of Taylor Swift. It took 6 months for Taylor Swift to train for her Eras Tour. Now it's your turn! Here's what you need to do: Train to run 3.5 hours. You have 6 months to train 7/13/24 - 12/15/24 (12/13/24 is Swift's birthday). If you join after 7/13/24, you will just have "less" time to train. During the weekend of 12/13-15, you would run the 3.5 hours. Most of this time is on your own. If you are unable to run the 3.5 hours, that's ok too! Come celebrate a 5k with us. Save 40 minutes or so to complete the 3.5 hours on 12/15/24 with fellow fans. Gather your besties to train. No specific mileage for the 3.5 hours. Singing while running is optional. Taylor makes it a habit to give to local food banks while on the road touring. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local food bank. Participants are encouraged to dress up in the musical artist-inspired costumes. This festive event offers a unique and unforgettable experience for both fans and running enthusiasts alike, combining the thrill of a race with the joy of celebrating one of today's biggest stars.
